On Saturday, November 12, 2011, the Second Annual NCAA Wrestle for a Cure Duals was held at the Farm Show Arena in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The event drew in teams from across the country. The event was organized by the parents of Tony Dallago. Dallago graduated from the Central Dauphin School District and currently attends the University of Illinois. He was a former state champion wrestler and currently wrestles at Illinois. He has cystic fibrosis.
The Wrestle for a Cure Duals managed to get teams from across the country to attend. The teams may have been looking for extra and competitive matches for wrestlers, or the teams may have been seeking potential recruits.
